At Newton, we have mixed age classes and therefore follow a two-year rolling curriculum cycle.

2026-27 is Cycle 2 and 2027-28 is Cycle 1. 

In Cycle 2, we have Belonging in Autumn Term, Hope, Triumph and Heroes in Spring Term and Change in Summer Term. 

In Cycle 1, we have Traditional Tales, Myths and Legends in Summer Term, Other Worlds in Spring and Environment in Summer.
