Home learning may be given to further consolidate or enrich and deepen the learning the children have been studying in class. Please support your child as needed and talk to them about our amazing curriculum that we offer at Newton.
Most home learning should take around 20 minutes. However, as children approach the end of Year 5, these tasks may increase. Year 6 pupils may have additional home learning. This is one of the ways we prepare them for the transition into secondary education.
