Emotional Wellbeing and Mental HealthHealthy Minds Lincolnshire provides emotional wellbeing support to children and young people up to 19 years old (or up to age 25 for those with special educational needs/disability or who are leaving care). It is delivered by Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Everyone at some point finds it hard to cope with how they are feeling or what is happening in their life. Healthy Minds Lincolnshire provides early support for when a young person starts to feel that life is getting out of control and is in need of some help to cope. Emotional wellbeing is about being happy, confident and having good relationships and Healthy Minds Lincolnshire can help with a range of emotional wellbeing concerns that affect this, such as exam stress, worries, low mood, poor body image, self-harm, relationship difficulties and low self-confidence. The service also provides support and advice to parents and carers and delivers training to education and children’s services professionals to help professionals better support young people’s emotional wellbeing concerns. A new wellbeing website has been developed to support young people, parents/carers and professionals in the first instance to view self-help information and to identify and access relevant national and local emotional wellbeing, behaviour and mental support services, ensuring access to the right service at the right time.
