We are currently recruiting for staff for our Wraparound provision which commences in September 2018 :

 

  • Breakfast Club Supervisor Grade G3 (£17,007 - £18,319 pro rata, equated pay)
  • After School Club Supervisor Grade G3 (£17,007 - £18,319 pro rata, equated pay)
  • After School Club Assistant Grade G2 (£16,626 - £17,007 pro rata, equated pay)

 

Part time, temporary for 12 months (to be reviewed)

Required for September 2018. We are seeking to fill three posts to ensure the effective and successful operation of our new wraparound provision, which will operate for 38 weeks per year. Our Breakfast Club will run term time Monday to Friday 7.30 - 8.30 am, and we require a supervisor to take charge of this provision. Our After School Club will run term time Monday to Friday 2.45 - 6.00pm, and we are seeking a supervisor to lead the running of the club, supported by an assistant.

Newton on Trent Church of England Primary School is a warm and friendly rural village school, currently with 53 pupils, where you will be welcomed by a dedicated and friendly team of staff and fantastic children. Staff work in a supportive and collaborative environment, and, as a member school of the Centurion Collaborative Partnership, a successful partnership of seven primary schools, you will also draw on the strengths and experience of staff within those schools. Our governors are committed and pro-active, and are supportive of the development of our wraparound care.

The staff we will employ need to have inspired and innovative ideas to initiate and develop creative and exciting play opportunities for our children. You will develop the self-esteem and independence of our children. You will supervise our children at all times, preparing appropriate activities and resources, preparing and serving food, and making attendance at our wraparound care positive and welcoming. You will foster excellent relationships with our children, being empathetic to the needs of individual pupils and their families. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised, and will be supportive of the school’s aims and Christian values.
