Courageous Advocacy
At Newton, as part of our 'Newton Offer' children are guided to learn how to become an agent for change and how to make a positive impact on the world around them. Courageous Advocacy opportunities and the skills required are explicitly planned into our curriculum to allow children to identify a need and act to make a change. At Newton, the skills and opportunities are progressive and sequential to enable children to make sustainable change in our local community, yet also provide the skills for children to develop beyond their time at Newton into global agents for change, having the confidence to act to make a a positive impact in the world around them.
