This month, Church School Council met to share their thoughts and prayers for the situation in Turkey and Syria.

In support of those affected, they created this prayer to share with our school and local community:

Dear Lord,

We are sorry that this has happened in Turkey and Syria.

Please send our love and aid to the loved ones who have passed in this tragic event.

We will do our best and hope that there are no more sorrowful events of crisis.

Please give hope, strength, and courage to those who need it most.

Amen.

We also met to lend our help to an upcoming community event, the 'Great British Spring Clean'. We created posters and shared these around school to promote the day.

At the end of a busy month, we wrote our second newsletter for the school community to enjoy!

Church School Council members were lucky enough to interview Mrs. Riley for this term's newsletter!

We also came together to write a prayer to share with the local community during our school Easter service:

Dear Lord, 

We are happy to celebrate this special day at Easter time.

We will always remember when Jesus was crucified.

We are thankful for everything he has done for us.

Please remind us to respect Jesus and be kind to others.

And help those that need it.
